In this podcast, Vic Gecas remembers how radio, TV and the telephone were gradually introduced into Newman town. He recalls how the chemist, Greg McKay, who was also the coach of Centrals, sold records from the pharmacy. Vic talks about the living quarters for teachers and some of the characters that shared those flats. And he also describes how he re-introduced junior footy together with another teacher from the High School.
