In this podcast Peter and Robyn Holcz recall various weather events and the effects of the Strike of 88 on the school. They also remember some memorable people who were part of their lives. Peter was part of a baseball team and they also recall when their son, Brendan, turned off the lights at the Softball final. They outline a few changes that they noticed during their two years in town, but they both agree that their time in Newman was the best time of their life and this shaped the lives of their entire family.

In this podcast Peter and Robyn Holcz discuss how living up North made them more of "risk-takers". Peter describes the long drive to Perth and car journeys in general. The major influences, as noted by Peter, were the influence of Pauline Coghlan as his Principal, and developing curriculum and  behaviour management programs in the school. But he also enjoyed cruising down the Fortescue River on blow up mattresses when the rain came! They both fondly recall the Bush BBQs, the clarity of the stars at night, and the ease of washing!!

In this podcast Peter and Robyn Holcz recall the Newman Primary, where their son Matthew attended, and the teachers there. Peter recalls the timetabling software and the issues that were had with the early technology. He describes the NSHS buildings and the Arson attacks that happened during his time. He recalls the staff of NSHS, and the issues facing country schools and staffing.
