They later moved to Perth again and Margaret River.

They also describe the class difference that lay between staff and wages, especially senior staff, and recall some of the people who lived in Ross Ave.

They remember their time of involvement in Newman Primary School, where Joy was the first Canteen Manager and Ron was the President of the P&C. Their children were involved in the Swimming Club and Soccer and the Clay Pidgeon Club. Ron also had a role as the Second Councillor on the Shire. Ron also describes his role in the Accounts Department and the Warehouse. They also recall their little pug dog and their relationship with Ivan and Joan Gunn.
